in-memoriam-phRandy Robinson, 45, of Columbia, died July 30, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM , Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia , 2207 Holly Ave. Visitation will be from 9-11 at the funeral home.

 HE was born March 20, 1964 in Fulton, the son of Thomas Wesley and Bessie Lue Robinson Sr.

 Survivors include one daughter Rakeshia Robinson, his companion Michelle Warren, one sister Elaine Saverson, and one brother Thomas Robinson Jr.

James E. Deller

in-memoriam-phJames Edward Deller was born on October 14, 1952 in Independence, MO. He died on August 4, 2009 at University Hospital, Columbia, MO. His parents were Charles James Deller and Alice Almata (Sandage) Deller. He graduated from Salisbury High School and attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Almata Silver, his step-father Raymond Silver, three sisters, Debera Smith and husband Paul, Kathie Gelski and partner Mike Campbell, Marlis Moodie and husband Walter, Laura Theerman his soul mate, 5 nephews and 1 niece, 15 grand nieces and nephews, 2 step-sisters, Sally and Susan Hunker and a step-brother, Jack Hunker and a host of good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Deller, a nephew, Joshua Moodie and a step-father, Reuben Hunker.

A celebration of Life will be held August 16, 2009 at 2pm at Potts Park in Salisbury, Mo., Shelter House # 3.

Henry Banks

in-memoriam-phHenry I. “Buck”  Banks, 87, of Fayette died Sunday at Fayette Caring Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Fayette. Burial will be in the Roanoke Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-1 Wednesday at the funeral home.

 Henry was born August 15, 1921 in Chariton County, MO. the son of Ruben and Everline Hayes Banks. HE was married to Ruby Ginn Banks and she preceded him in death on December 27, 2008.  HE was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

Leonard Nelson Smith

in-memoriam-phLeonard Nelson Smith entered into this world on June 16, 2009 the son of Walter G. and Mamie B. Williams Smith in Bell Air, Mo. He departed this earthly walk on July 4, 2009 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics after a long illness.

Leonard was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Speed, Mo.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son Gerald Smith of Richmond, Va., three daughters Cheryl Smith, Teresa Smith and Auida Smith all of Springfield, MA., two brothers Winfred Smith and Raymond (Helen Christine) Smith, both of Columbia and one sister Lela B. (John) Ransey of Detroit, MI. and 7 grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday , July 11, 2009 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Boonville. Burial will be held at a later date.

Clarence G. Hill

in-memoriam-phClarence G. Hill, 80, of Columbia died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Friendship Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10-12 Thursday at the church. Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo.

Clarence Hill was born May 8, 1929 in Floristell, Mo., the son of George and Ella Johnson Hill. He was employed by the Boone County Road Division. He had a great love for motorcycles. He was an Army Veteran. He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Wentzville.

Survivors include his wife Genevieve Hill of the home, two sons Phillip Connor of Jefferson City, Mo., and Robert Whitaker of St. Louis, Mo, one step-son Chris Monroe of Columbia, three daughters Janice Watson of Jefferson City, Patricia Mcghee and Marilyn Booth both of St. Louis, Mo., one brother Arvin Hill of Minneapolis, MN., 2 sisters Barbara Parker of St. Louis, Mo., and Mary Woolfork of Wentzville, Mo., one sister-in-law Agnes Hill of Wentzville, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 son and 1 daughter.
