Family with God we will make it through this: This is very hard for me! My aunt was a very loving and giving person! I will miss her phone calls and rides and FOOD (Chicken & Rice) lol…. She loved her nieces and nephews! If she didnt have to give she would make sure we were happy!!! I dont understand how she could leave us so soon but I know God has the last say! I LOVE YOU AUNT GAIL!! I still have the tape of us having church back in the 80′s. Lenora was the choir and I was the piano player and Aunt gail was the lead singer!!

Our deepest sympathy to the Cowans and Carter families. Gail was a terrific lady and will be missed by all. Our mom (Karen) loved her with all her heart and cherished her friendship like no other. Gail always had a kind word to say about everyone and her laughter can never be replaced and always be remembered. We will be with our mom through her pain but we thank God for sending her the best friend anyone could ever have. The sparkle has gone from our mom’s eyes right now, but we know that the strength and courage that Gail taught her will get her through. Those two were two of a kind, and when they were together the world lite up around them. Gail told us one time that no matter when, where, why, or how they would always be bound together. We believe that. When one needed the other they always found a way to work things out. It was amazing to see those two laughing, smiling, crying or whatever was on the plate at the time. Gail brought a part of our mom out that no one else could do . They always worked on fixing each other.
We are praying for all family and friends that are hurting and wanted each of you to know we thank you for sharing your loved one with us and especially for the last 15 years with our mom. We know Gail is with the angels singing beautiful songs from above.
    God bless you all.

A huge thank you to Tommy, Larry and Henry for all you have done to ease the loss. HT Mays have gone above and beyond to make sure we all had an opportunity to say our “see you laters”.

We would like to send our love to the Cowans and Carter families during your time of loss. Gail was a lady who brought laughter, smiles and love to all she met. Our mom(Karen) no longer has that sparkle in her eyes, but we know that the courage, strength and willingness Gail taught her will keep her moving ahead. Gail was a big part of our family for the last 16 years. She was there for weddings, new arrivals, baptisms, birthdays, and holidays that our family has had. Not one went by without a visit or phone call from her. Gail never had anything bad to say about anyone and her love for life rubbed off on us, especially our mom. We will be with mom during her time of loss, but we can never replace that smile that Gail would put on her face or in her heart. The two of them shared alot of memories, good times and bad, but most of all they shared a cherised friendship that so few really have.
We would like to thank the Cowans and Carter family for sharing your loved one with us over the years. We thank God he brought her into our mom’s life and ours. She will be dearly missed more than words can express.
Gail dance and sing with the angels now, you are home. Thank you for loving our mom and she will always treasure you in her heart.
Also thanks to Tommy, Henry and Larry (HT Mays) for all that you have done in this time of loss.
God Bless you all, Amanda Himmelberg and family
    Amber Conz and family
    Josh & Molly
and especially our super little brother, Dariez
Gail always said he has been here before, and called him her
    little “old” man.

I am so very fortunate to have known Gail. Her and Lu-Lu claimed they were each-others sisters and they have spent many, many hours together through the years. Their relationship was so very special. Gail had a lot of friends and she had a way of making all feel special and unique. The loss of her is so vast and we’ve all experienced it.
Don’t think of what you lost when she passed .. Remember what you had when she was here. I believe we’ll see her again and she’s going to have a big old plate of wings waiting for us. My deepest condolences to all of you.

To The Carter and Cowans Family

I am very sorry for your great loss. She was a very beautiful person because of her big ol’heart she had. She cared for everyone. I will miss her greatly. As I am sure you will too. Both of my girls have no one to go to for advice. But I am very sure she taught them enough to get along without her. My condolences go out to the family. I am sure you loved her very much and so did I and my girls.

    My Prayers are with you,
    LuLu, Gabi & Danielle
