Helen Jean Turner Sherres

in-memoriam-phHelen Sherres,71, of Kansas City, Formerly of Fayette, Mo. died Friday, October 9, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 17, 2009 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Michael Jackman officiating. Burial will be in Fayette City Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Helen Jean Turner Sherres was born March 8, 1938 in Fayette, the daughter of Lester Boggs Sr. and Imogne Turner. She was a member of the St. Paul UMC Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one son Charles L. Turner of Minneapolis, MN., four daughters Sandy Gayle Misher, Patricia L. Maltbia, Rhonya L. Maltbia and Eula Mae(Hosea) Haywood, all of Kansas City, Mo., two brothers Earl Turner Sr., of Fayette, Mo., and Lester Boggs Jr. of Sedalia, Mo.

    To the Family of Helen Jean:

    My condolences go out to the family. Please know that you are in my prayers. Helen Jean’s presence may be gone, but know memories will always be there. God will comfort you. Be strong and hold your heads up. She will be greatly missed by all.

    My heart goes out to you. Stay strong and God be with you. I do apologize for not being there. But, please believe me, my heart is their. Please note that Helen Jean enjoyed her life, always smiling, always happy. Please cherish those memories. There was nothing like FAMILY for Helen Jean, she will truly and surely be missed. I love each and everyone of you.
