Helen Sherres,71, of Kansas City, Formerly of Fayette, Mo. died Friday, October 9, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 17, 2009 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Michael Jackman officiating. Burial will be in Fayette City Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Helen Jean Turner Sherres was born March 8, 1938 in Fayette, the daughter of Lester Boggs Sr. and Imogne Turner. She was a member of the St. Paul UMC Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son Charles L. Turner of Minneapolis, MN., four daughters Sandy Gayle Misher, Patricia L. Maltbia, Rhonya L. Maltbia and Eula Mae(Hosea) Haywood, all of Kansas City, Mo., two brothers Earl Turner Sr., of Fayette, Mo., and Lester Boggs Jr. of Sedalia, Mo.
