    To the Kemp family,
I was really shocked to learn about Lakeidra’s death on Sunday. I still can’t believe that she is gone. I had a chance of working with Lakeidra for about four years, and what a wonderful lady she was? I always called her “a simple girl with a beautiful heart”. Lakeidra reached out to many people, and did not mind sharing whatever little she had. This is a huge loss. I pray that God comforts you during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Lakeidra.

I am so very sorry that your family lost LaKeidra. I had the wonderful opportunity of sharing an office with her fro the last 5 months. I must say that this was a gift that I will never forget. LaKeidra ALWAYS had a smile on her face and made a point of asking me about my small dog (a Boston Terrier named Chloe) and sending me emails with cute doggie pictures. She would then say “I knew you would like that”. I cannot say how it hurts me to also have lost LaKeidra…….but the pain your family must feel…..remember her smile and truly sweet aand sincere personality.

To the Kemp Family, with sincere condolences.

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when is glory is revealed.
If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.
However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
    1 Peter 4:12-16 NIV
    GOD be with you!

Immediate Arrangements

Many decisions must be made when you lose a loved one, and we offer caring and professional support to guide you through that process while you grieve. Please call our Columbia office at 573.443.2273 (or the H.T. May & Son Funeral Home location nearest you) to speak in person with a trained funeral director.

Funeral Pre-Planning

Today more than ever, people are choosing to pre-plan or prepay for their own funeral arrangements. Such planning helps prevent the surviving family members from having to make arrangements on short notice, reduces emotional strain and helps to ensure that the wishes of the deceased will be respected.
