As an employee of Gatehouse Apartments for the last year and a half, I was fortunate enough to meet and get to know a beautiful lady named Darlene Walton. Her continuously positive and upbeat outlook, friendly smile, and general warm heart made a lasting impact on me in the short time I knew her. I was heartbroken to hear about Darlene’s passing but know that she is now looking down on us with a smile, hopefully playing the piano…
Sharing your sorrow in the loss of your dear love one, and sending my deepest sympathy to let you know to hold on to God’s unchanging hands. may God continue to keep you in his loving arms.

Think of something funny Darlene said or done. Don’t cry for her because she is with the Lord. Smile when you think of her and keep smiling, because death is an extension of life.

To the Taylor family, words can not express our sorrow for your loss. Darlene like the rest of you was family to us. I talked to Nettie and Shirley and we can not tell you how sorry we are that we couldn’t attend the services. Sonny had another stroke is unable to do much, he lives with me now. It saddens me to hear about Darlene. We ran into here one day when we were in Boonville and it was good to see and talk to her after all these years. There are no words to say how sorry I am just know I am thinking and praying for each of you.
May God send His Son to comforter you in your time of grief.
